Our Team

Our teams are individually selected to meet the specific needs of each project, and are led by Anthony Ambrose and Wendy Baxter. We work with a talented and diverse collection of scientists, tree climbers, riggers, and media specialists.

Anthony Ambrose

Anthony is a forest ecophysiologist and photographer specializing in the study of climate effects on tree structure and function. Anthony has a Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley and has been working in ancient forest canopies around the world for more than 24 years. Anthony is also Co-Founder and Executive Director of The Marmot Society, a non-profit forest research and education organization.

Wendy Baxter

Wendy is a forest ecologist and filmmaker with over a decade of experience working in some of the most pristine old-growth forest canopies in the world. Wendy has a M.S. from Wageningen University. Wendy also manages a network of weather stations for the University of California Natural Reserve System, and is Co-Founder and Board Member of The Marmot Society, a non-profit forest research and education organization.
